宋朝时，日本人八木宗右卫门受不了公黑金茶族的挑衅，而嘲弄公黑金茶非天下第一茶，导致两族以当时时兴的“斗茶”来决定高下。公黑金茶族仗势着公黑金茶的功效，屠杀母黑金茶族，并放火烧光了茶田。一孩童自火场逃出，将公母黑金茶混合饮下，竟幻化成龙升空而去。此时公黑金茶族才发现铸下大错，开始了族人漫长寻找母黑金茶的旅程。
　　时至今日2007年，京都有个歇业已久的八木茶行，其主人八木圭即八木宗右卫门的后代。数年前某日，因妻子的意外过世，八木圭从此不再碰茶，并笃信八木家族深受“黑金茶”诅咒。女儿美希子十分受不了父亲这种怯懦逃避的性格，偶然间，她发现了记载黑金茶的古书，书中写着将公母黑金茶合在一起喝下即可破解诅咒，于是她只身前往台湾，找寻黑金茶。
　　台湾某处有个地下茶市，专门贩卖世上稀有且珍贵的茶，其背后主持者杨哥，正是古代公黑金茶族的后裔。美希子来台湾几次逃跑的过程中，都巧遇杨哥，而且每次杨哥都帮他化解危机，一次次的相遇，美希子渐渐被杨哥俊秀的外表以及和善的行为所吸引，也对杨哥产生信赖感，美希子浑然不知杨哥这三番两次的接近，其实后面躲藏着一个险恶的计划。为了美希子也到台湾找寻女儿的八木圭，遇到美丽的母黑金茶遗族如花，完全没察觉如花也正一步步展开计划。
　　为了解开自身家庭的亲情困顿和流传多年的家族怨怼，八木圭、美希子、杨哥、如花，这四个因“黑金茶”而相遇的人，彼此卷进一个大漩涡而不自知……
